I’m a full time wife and mamma to 5 kids. I always tell people “that’s a handful”…get it? Hand–full, five…never mind. Here are a few things you might have figured out by looking at the photos above:

1) I have had really long hair and really short hair and EVERYthing in between. I’m a believer in changing things up. Hair is hair and the truth is I’m super grateful for the awesome hair that I have.

2) I am a color person. Color gives life to life. People always ask “What should we wear in our photos?” COLOR! Okay seriously, I say, “Wear whatever makes you feel like you!” (oh and women should wear 3/4 length sleeves, but we can chat about that later).

3) I am all about having fun. I think that anything can be fun if I’m there because…well…I’m fun! And especially family photos. Nobody gets in trouble. Everybody gets to be themselves (especially me) and at the end we should all get a ice cream cone just for showing up! Am I right?

Here’s what I love, love, LOVE —Lifestyle Photography. I just want to see the real you with your family, with your kids, with your spouse doing real stuff. I want to capture the connections between you and your child or spouse that make this life beautiful, even when it’s not.

Don’t get me wrong, I want that perfect family photo for my wall too, but what I treasure is the stuff that doesn’t require posing or happy camera faces. Be YOU! That’s enough. Those are the photos that are timeless and treasured above all else.
